Description

Definition
This variable indicates whether five years ago, the respondent lived in the same metropolitan area at the time of the census or not. For persons living inside a metropolitan area at both points in time, this variable reports whether their current and past metropolitan area of residence was the same. Metropolitan areas consist of a large central city and surrounding economically-integrated counties.
