Block 10, Visit 1 & 2 : Some General Information on Operational Holdings for Kharif/Rabi : Some general information on the operational holdings operated individually or jointly by the household will be collected in this block. In the visit-1 schedule, the information will relate to the holdings operated in kharif season of agricultural year 1991-92. Similarly, the information relating to the holdings operated in Rabi season of the same agricultural year will be recorded in the visit-2 schedule. Most of the households are likely to report single holding. Only on rare occasions, a household is expected to report more than one holding. There are, however, provisions for recording particulars of as many as four operational holdings in the block. In case a household is found to have more than four holdings, a spare sheet may be attached in this block.
