This publication presents the results of the 2008 APIS. It provides national and regional estimates on selected non-income poverty indicators and describes the profiles of families, who belong to the bottom 30 percent income stratum and upper 70 percent income stratum.
The results from the 2008 APIS can be used by policy makers and program implementers in their planning, assessment and evaluation of the various programs designed to reduce poverty incidence in the country. It can also be used by researchers interested in analyzing the poverty situation in the Philippines using non-income indicators. |
