Description	The report has introduced major findings from the Labor Force Survey (LFS) conducted in September 2009 by General Statistics Office (GSO) in order to collect basic information on labor market in 2009, comparable with previous annual labour force surveys, in accordance with international standards to be used since 2010. In addition, the survey will support for assessing the impacts of the global economic downturn to the labour market. It was expected that the data taken from the survey would represent to the national level, urban/rural, six social-economic zones (called region for short) as well as two main cities - Hanoi and Hochiminh city.
