WASH KAP Water Hygiene Refugee Water Sanitation Hygiene Health The WASH KAP Uganda Palorinya survey 2018 was implemented by NRC to provide a benchmark on the status of the WASH situation of Refugees in Zone 3 of the settlement. This part had an estimated 69000 people, and for this part, NRC was selected as UNHCR's implementing partner for WASH activities. The sample includes 402 households, randomly selected from the west and east of Zone 3. Uganda Zone 3 in the Palorinya refugee settlment Household Sample survey data [ssd] Norwegian Refugee Council The zone was clustered into two locations: Zone West and Zone East. Then Simple Random Sampling was then used to select 4 villages from each cluster. Systematic Random Sampling was applied to select the respondents within each of villages selected. Face-to-face [f2f] The survey questionnaire used to collect the data consists of the following sections: General Information and Demographics, Water Collection and Storage, Hygiene, Sanitation. The data was captured using Kobo on Android-based smartphones. The detailed analysis of the data was conducted using MS Excel to provide analytical depth to the findings as well as significant statistics to help orient future actions and provide recommendations. Sample weights for the household data were computed as the inverse of the probability of selection of the household.
