Nicaragua National. La muestra de la ENDESA 2001 fue diseñada para proveer análisis a diferentes niveles de subdivisión geográfica, tales como la residencia actual de la población (urbano o rural), y de la actual división departamental del país. Los mayores dominios de estudio para las tabulaciones del cuestionario individual y para sus correspondientes tabulaciones del cuestionario del hogar, son el total del país, el total del área urbana y del área rural, separadamente; y cada departamento. El universo poblacional para el cuestionario individual de mujeres de la ENDESA 2001 se definió como la población femenina de 15 a 49 años de edad de todo el país. La población entrevistada con el cuestionario individual fue identificada en 11,328 hogares ocupados entrevistados, donde también se aplicó el cuestionario del hogar. Sample survey data Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos Face-to-face La primera etapa del procesamiento de la información se implementó en el terreno, donde las supervisoras y editoras verificaban la consistencia de los cuestionarios. A cada grupo de 5 brigadas le fue asignado un coordinador central, responsable de supervisar el avance de la recolección y la calidad de la información. Fueron seleccionados un total de 13,417 hogares. De este total 11,986 estaban ocupados y en 11,328 se logró realizar la entrevista, dando una tasa de respuesta del 95 por ciento al excluir del cálculo las viviendas desocupadas, destruidas y no encontradas. De un total de 14,123 mujeres elegibles se logró entrevistar 13,060, obteniéndose una tasa de respuesta del 93 por ciento. La tasa de respuesta combinada fue del 88 por ciento, bastante satisfactoria para este tipo de encuestas, sobre todo tomando en cuenta las difíciles condiciones que presenta Nicaragua para el trabajo de campo.
