Demographic and Health Survey (standard) - DHS II
L'Enquête Démographique et de Santé EDS-II 1992 est la seconde EDS réalisée au Sénégal après la première en 1986.
Senegal
National. Les domaines d'étude importants pour I'EDS-II au Sénégal sont le milieu urbain et le milieu rural. En plus, on peut fournir des estimations pour quatre grandes régions du pays, l'Ouest (Dakar et Thiès), le Centre (Diourbel, Kaolack, Louga et Fatick), le Sud (Ziguinchor et Kolda) et le Nord-Est (Saint-Louis et Tambacounda).
L'univers de l'enquête est l'ensemble de la population et au niveau des sous-populations des femmes de 15 à 49 ans et des enfants de 0 à 4 ans.

Face-to-face
Pour l'enquête homme, on a sélectionné un ménage sur trois parmi les ménages tirés pour l'enquête femme. A l'intérieur des 258 DR, on a sélectionné 3735 ménages, dans lesquels 6639 femmes et 1694 hommes ont été identifiés respectivement pour les enquêtes individuelles auprès des femmes et des hommes. Parmi les ménages identifiés, 3528 ont été interviewés avec succès, soit un taux de réponse de 99 pour cent. Au niveau des entrevues individuelles, les taux de réponse étaient de 95 pour cent pour les femmes et 85 pour cent pour les hommes.
