IND_2024_TUS_v01_M Time Use Survey 2024 TUS 2024 National Statistics Office of India (NSSO) Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation Metadata Editor Labor Force Survey [hh/lfs] National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) in India conducted the first Time Use Survey during January - December 2019. The second Time Use Survey conducted during January -December 2024. Households and Individuals Sample survey data [ssd] Face-to-face [f2f] 10024 FSUs were surveyed at all-India level. The total number of sample FSUs were allocated to the States and UTs in proportion to population as per Census 2011 subject to a minimum s ample allocation of 16 FSUs to each State/UT.State/UT level sample size was allocated between two sectors in proportion to population as per Census 2011 with 1.5 weightage to urban sector. A minimum of 4 FSUs, each for rural and urban sector separately, was allocated to each State/UT. For more urbanized big States like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu etc., the urban allocation was limited to rural sample size to avoid undue weightage to urban sector.
