Interviewer instructions
Verify the name of the biological father of the household member and enter the ID code of the member's biological father (biological means the man who gave birth to the child). In many cultures, people consider other people's children whom they are raising as their own, especially children of their spouses, sisters, brothers or other close relations. So you should be certain that the respondent understands that you are talking about the household member's biological other. If the father is not a household member enter code 98 and if the father is dead enter code 99.
