Definition
FPUSPLANMN (MV362) is a constructed variable, based on multiple survey questions. The variable reports, for men not currently using contraception, whether the man intends to use contraception in the future and, if so, when he intends to begin use (in the next 12 months or later). Men uncertain about future contraceptive use are subdivided into those who are unsure about using a method and those unsure about the timing of planned future use.
