Description

Definition
For children born in the 3 to 5 years before the survey, VACVITALAST (H33) indicates whether the child has received the most recent, or most recent reported, dose of vitamin A.

Vitamin A vaccinations are typically made up of supplements given every 6 months. The complementary variable VACVITA2 (H40) reports the second most recent, or second most recent reported, administration.
