Definition
La variable nos permite conocer sobre las formas de ahorro informal, es decir, el tipo de ahorro que no ingresa al sistema financiero, que tiene la población, como por ejemplo el prestando dinero o recibiendo préstamo.

Prestó dinero (recibió préstamo): Significa que el informante recibió dinero prestado de un tercero, que pueden ser familiares, personas particulares o prestamistas (no incluye los préstamos recibidos del sistema financiero) con el compromiso que a un tiempo acordado, el informante realice la devolución del monto recibido.
