<span class="h3">3.37 Rooms:</span></p>
<p>Areas in the house which are partitioned by wall, shelves, or wardrobes at least 3 sides apart from other rooms, or other areas of the house. The height of shelves or wardrobes should not be approximately lower than 1.80 m.</p>
<div class="i1"><span class="em">3.37.1 Bedrooms </span>mean the rooms for sleeping propose only. Although in the enumeration period there is no one sleeping in the rooms, they are still counted as bedrooms.<br /><br /><span class="em">3.37.2 Other rooms using as bedrooms </span>mean any room that is not a bedroom such as guest room, dining room, living room, kitchen, or storeroom. If a household member is regularly sleeping in any aforesaid room, all are counted as other rooms using as bedrooms.<br /><br />In the case that there are several households living together in a house, count number of bedrooms and other rooms using as bedrooms only the ones that belong to a particular household. If there is a household living in several single houses, count all bedrooms and other rooms using as bedrooms of all houses.</div><span class="em">Section 3 Questions on Housing </span>

<p>Questions on housing are concerned with living places of every private household in municipal area. For those outside municipal area and Bangkok, ask only the sample households.</p>
<p><span class="em">Guideline for questioning and recording</span><div class="i1">1. Ask conditions of living place by household not by person.<br />2. If a household living in many houses in the same area, consider the house where head of the household lives.<br />3. If several households living in the same house, consider conditions of the living place of the main household, other households or conditions of living are regarded as rooms in the house.<br />4. In recording answer, circle one code number only. If answer is "others," specify and record the answer clearly.<br />5. The question that has no answer code, record statement or number in the blank on the dot line.</div><span class="em">H 10. Number of bedrooms</span></p>

<p>In case that there are many households in a house, count only number of bedrooms and the rooms using as bedrooms of the household being asked.</p>
<p>If a household living in many houses, count number of bedrooms and the room using as household of all houses.
<br />If there is no bedroom, record "0." A household must have a bedroom at least.
<br />If there is no partition board/wall, record the rooms using as bedrooms "1" (See the Section of Housing, in Definition Chapter)
