These are the employed persons who expressed the desire to have additional hours of work in their present job, or to have a new job with longer working hours.

Universe

For persons 10 years old and over who ever worked or had a job/business during the past week except overseas contract workers.

These are the employed persons who expressed the desire to have additional hours of work in their present job, or to have a new job with longer working hours. The desire for more hours of work should be more or less for all the days of the week and not just for a particular day(s). However, for persons who worked for the first time or who decided to resume working but whose work commenced only during the middle of the week, it is enough that they expressed their desire to work longer hours each day or more days during the week they worked.
