<svar a="all" v="CR00A036"><span class="h3">Question 9: Total number of rooms</span><br /><br />This question has been written to determine the total number of rooms or bedrooms that the dwelling has.<br /><br />[Below the text is a picture of a floor.]<br /><br /><span class="em">Room</span>: Area separated from others by fixed walls, or permanent separations or differentiated by levels.<br /><br /><span class="em">Total number of rooms</span>: Include rooms such as: living room, dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, TV room, study, library.<br /><br />Exclude corridors, bathrooms, laundry/storage room (<span class="lang">cuarto de pilas</span>), inner patio, terraces and garages; also rooms that are used exclusively for professional, commercial, industrial or service purposes: lawyer's office, doctor's office, store, bazaar, local store, beauty salon, etc.<br /><br /><span class="em">Remember</span>:<br /><br />In the country or in rural areas, it is possible that the kitchen is a construction separate from the rest of the dwelling. In this case, take it as part of it and write it down as one more room.<br /><br />The total amount cannot be less that the number written down in the previous question (bedrooms).<br /></svar>
