5.7.0 Block 7: Follow up questions for persons employed either in the principal or subsidiary status: In this block an attempt is made to collect information on certain qualitative aspects of the employment of those who are categorised as employed either in the principal or subsidiary status. The aspects to be probed include occupational mobility, extent of under utilisation of labour time, membership in trade unions, nature of employer, etc.
5.7.14 Column (16): If code 1 or 2 in col.(15) reason : For those who 'sought/available' for alternative work at least for some days the reason for doing so will be recorded as follows.
