Organisasi profesi adalah organisasi yang dibentuk oleh anggota masyarakat terpelajar dari disiplin ilmu yang sama atau sejenis sebagai sarana meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota serta sebagai wahana pengabdian masyarakat seperti IDI, ISEI, dan Ikatan Statistik Indonesia.
