Definition
Slums are residential environment characterized by:
1. Many homes are not habitable,
2. Many sewage jammed,
3. Population / building highly dense,
4. Many people do not defecate in latrines,
5. Usually located in marginal areas (such as at the edge of the river, railroad or other).
Slums are usually found in urban areas. The house is not habitable houses made of scrap materials / waste (such as pieces
plywood, plastic sheets rest, and so on) are not considered suitable for residing or located in areas not designated for settlement,
including slum. These details are intended to determine the existence of slums in this village.
