Definition
El objetivo de la pregunta se dirige a identificar las parejas al interior de los hogares. A partir de la pregunta “relación de parentesco” con el jefe del hogar, sólo es posible identificar si el o la jefa tienen cónyuge en el hogar entrevistado. La inclusión de esta pregunta permite saber si existen otras parejas en el hogar e identificar los miembros que las componen.

Se entiende por “cónyuge o pareja” cualquier relación conyugal que implique convivencia en el hogar entrevistado, independientemente del tipo de vínculo (legal o de hecho) y de si se trata de una unión entre personas del mismo sexo o del sexo opuesto.
