Question 4.09 - What religion or cult do you belong to?
The record should identify the sect, cult or branch of the religion professed, such as: Roman Apostolic Catholic, Orthodox Catholic, Brazilian Catholic, Anglican, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Baptist, [p. 100] Universal Church Of The Kingdom Of God, Christian Congregation Of Brazil, Adventist, Kardecist, Shintoist, Jehovah's Witness, Candomblé, Umbanda, Buddhist, Israelite, Mohammedan, Esoteric, etc.
Do not record generic expressions such as Catholic, Protestant, Spiritualist, Protestant Believer, Evangelical, Pentecostal, etc.
For persons who do not profess any religion, record No religion.
In cases of doubt in defining the religion of minors, record the mother's religion.
