<svar a="all" v="BR80A405"><span class="h3">Question 5 - Family to which each person belongs</span><br /><br /><span class="em">In private households</span><br />Mark the number of the family to which each person belongs, in the following way:<br /><div class="i1"><span class="em">Single family</span> - when the domicile is occupied by just one family;<br /><span class="em">1st family of multiple-family household</span> - for the members of the family of the head of the household when more than one family live together;</div><br /><br /><span class="pg">[p. 41]</span><br /><br /><div class="i1"><span class="em">2nd family of multiple-family household</span> - for the members of the second family in the multiple-family household; or<br /><span class="em">3rd family of multiple-family household</span> - for the members of the last family in the multiple-family household.</div><br /><br />Please note that if more than three families are living together in a multiple-family private household, the household will be considered a collective dwelling, the Census Forms should be filled out according to the respective instructions, and a List for Collective Dwelling - CD 1.03 - should be issued.<br /><span class="em">In collective dwellings</span><br />Mark the box:<br /><div class="i1"><span class="em">In collective dwelling</span> - for persons belonging to a family living in a collective dwelling; or<br /><span class="em">Individual</span> - on the Census forms referring to persons who live alone in collective dwellings.</div><br /><br />Examples of situations regarding condition in the household, condition in the family, and the family to which the person belongs:<br /></svar>
