<svar a="all" v="BR70A414"><span class="h3">Question 16 - Do you Attend School ?</span><br /><br />(Only for persons age 5 or over)<br /><br />Persons who attend one of the following courses, even if they are on vacation or otherwise temporarily unable to attend school on the date of the Census, should be considered as Attending school:<br /><br /><div class="i1">a) regular schools - whose courses are regulated by law and comply with sequential yearly curriculums (1st year, 2nd year, etc.), including regular ecclesiastical courses;<br />b) adult literacy courses, preparation for junior high school [<span class="lang">admissão</span> - usually 5th grade], college entrance exam, Article 99 or primary school classes conducted in households:</div><br /><br />Persons, who, on the date of the Census, are attending the following courses, should not be considered as attending school:<br /><br /><div class="i1">a) short professional specialization or cultural extension courses, such as sewing, dancing, etc.;<br />b) kindergarten.</div><br /></svar>
