Interviewer instructions
For each of the members whole serial number is recorded against item 1, his or her usual activity 'status' and 'industry division' codes (as recorded in columns (2) and (3) respectively of block (6) will be entered against item 2 as a three digited code of which the unit place will indicate the industry division code and the tenth and hundredth places will indicate the status code.
