Interviewer instructions
This is a close-ended question with answers coded by numbers and there are skips at codes ‘4’ and ‘8’.
Sickness duration of the respondent is divided into different intervals of time in the past. This duration is observed from the date of enumeration or ‘never sick enough to stay at home’. For example: ‘less than three months ago’, ‘from 3 months to under a year ago’, and ‘one year and over ago’. If the response of the respondent is point of view the interviewer needs to convert the answer to intervals of time (month, year) to circle an applicable code.
