Interviewer instructions

The purpose of this Question is to give information on the unemployed persons who are seriously or actively looking for employment. Actively looking for work is one of the criteria used to determine unemployment even though this criterion can be relaxed for some reasons. For example, some people may be ready to work but may not be actively looking for work and the reasons may be that they are discouraged / given up after a long time of searching for work and not finding.
