Definition

This is the number of rooms that are used for sleeping purposes; this includes living rooms, dining rooms, study rooms and kitchens. If a garage is used as a sleeping room counts it so. But exclude bathrooms, toilets, stoops, verandas and passageways. Number of rooms for sleeping purposes refers to dwelling units occupied by the household.
