For every female member of the household who has ever been married (WPK - Indonesian <span class="lang">Wanita Pernah Kawin</span>) and age 10 or older complete Blocks VII.A, VII.B, VII.C, VII.D and VII.E. Block VII.C is filled in only if WPK has ever had a live birth. Begin with the WPK household member who has the lowest serial number and continue until all WPK household members have been interviewed.</div><br /></svar></p>
<p><span class="ital">Complete Blocks VI.A, VI.B, VI.C and VI.D for every household member and then continue the interviews with WPK household members to complete Blocks VII.A, VII.B, VII.C, VII.D and VII.E.</span></p>

Family planning</span><br />This block collects information on the use of different types of family planning (KB) devices/ methods, that is, devices/methods couples use to prevent or delay pregnancy.<br /><br />Matters related to family planning may be considered private matters by the respondent, and she may be reluctant to discuss this matter. To overcome this feeling, show the respondent that you do not feel embarrassed or awkward to talk about this matter. Ask all the questions in the same way as you ask all the other questions on the form. If she is reluctant in answering any of the questions, the enumerator must assure the respondent that the same questions are being asked to all women in Indonesia.<br />Note that all questions about contraceptive devices/methods used by men apply to all husbands or former husbands. If the respondent has been married more than once, it does not matter which husband used which device/method.<br /></svar></p>
<p><svar a="all" v="ID05A496">Question 714: Services for the last FP device/method used<br />Ask Q 714 to those respondents who are using devices/methods 01 through 10 in Q713. FP services can be a place or person. For example, code 11 is "Government hospital" and<br /><br /><span class="pg">[p. 132]</span><br /><br />code 34 is "Friend/family". Write the name of the place mentioned by the respondent in the space provided, and circle the corresponding code. If the respondent says that she obtains the devices/methods from a friend or family, ask if she knows where that person obtained them.<br />The interviewer may face difficulties in determining which code must be circled for this question, because some respondents may not know the source of the services. If the respondent mentions the name of a clinic or hospital, ask if she knows if it is organized by the government or the private sector. If the respondent does not know, write the name that she mentioned in the space provided and ask the supervisor to obtain that information.
