Definition
Case of Fatal Injury - refers to a person fatally injured as a result of occupational accident whether death occurs:
a. immediately after the accident
b. within the same reference year as the accident
STEPPING ON, STRIKING AGAINST OR STRUCK BY OBJECTS, EXCLUDING FALLING OBJECTS - stepping on objects; striking against stationary objects (except impacts due a to previous fall); striking against moving objects; struck by moving objects (including flying fragments and particles) excluding falling objects
