| Abstract | This thesis investigates the determinants of infant mortality and the impact of health policy on mortality reduction. It focuses on Turkish case, studying the historical changes of the main inclinations of Turkish health policy. The thesis involves an empirical analysis of the factors affecting receiving prenatal care and postnatal care which reveals the need for coherent health policy in Turkey. |
