This thesis is focused on the analysis of internal business processes of the company
“Aero Negocios de Transportación S.A. AERONET” and subsequent the elaboration of
an improvement plan through the research feasibility of entering export documents /
parcels by courier or postal accelerated named "COURIER", bound for Miami-United
States. Because the assessment of tariff barriers, taxes and fees, such as the flat tax of
$ 42 to imports from October 2014 to all free load (Load 4x4, not more than 4 kg or $
400), or the surcharge referred safeguard since March 2015, sales of companies
dedicated to providing the Courier service decreased, which was no stranger to
AERONET SA, for this reason and have the model of import substitution these
companies providing the service they have been in the obligation to innovate its
business activities. At present the government led by Econ. Rafael Correa Delgado
encourages small and medium enterprises to start with export projects and in turn
charging agencies, transportation agencies, including Courier companies to provide the
service. The political-economic situation in Ecuador is uncertain for 2016 however it is
expected that from the month of January, with the phasing of the safeguards and the
approval of the trade agreement between Ecuador and the European Union, there are
better opportunities for imports and exports in Ecuador
