Abstract | WTO is a unique international organization, which handles with global trade regulations among countries all over the world. Its main task is to maintain the world trade to develop as smoothly, freely, and predictably as possible. The trade volume of the WTO members boasts 97 % of the total trade volume in the world. After fifteen years negotiation, China was accepted as a member of WTO at the fourth Ministerial Conference in November 2001. WTO entry certainly puts big effects on China economy development. As a member of WTO, China would act on the various rules and agreements and have both rights and obligation when being involved in the economic affairs. In the short run, almost every industry will be affected to different degrees as the entry of more foreign funds, enterprises and products into China’s market. In the long run, China’s economy development will be involved into the multi-trade structure based on regulations, which is good for an early establishment of China’s market and legal economy. RE industry is one of the pillar industries of China’s national economy, and has a very important position in social and economic development. It is one of the fundamental production factors, which offers an important material condition for the development of China national economy. The development of RE industry relates with economic development directly. Therefore, China RE industry is affected more and more by the changes of international economy and regional economy after WTO entry. This thesis analyzes the factors that affect China’s RE industry by using attribute analysis, relativity analysis, RE market forecast model and macro economic theory. Opportunities and challenges of WTO entry for China RE industry are analyzed with great efforts, and the adapted proposals are suggested from different respects of RE government sector, RE finance sector, RE development sector and RE transaction services sector. |
