Abstract | The effectiveness of an organization depends upon the effectiveness of corporate and operating management. Thus, the job of the manager demands variety of multiple skills to perform the operations. An intelligent manager always examines the internal factors besides the external, in order to understand and improve the performance of an organization more effectively and efficiently. Therefore, this paper attempts to examine the factors that favour the Managerial effectiveness in select Public and Private sector organizations. Primary data was collected from managers at three different levels i.e., top, middle and lower level managers by administering a structured questionnaire designed for the purpose. Also an attempt was made to study the perceptions of managers towards factors that favour Managerial effectiveness by comparing select Public and Private sector organizations |
