Abstract | This note aims to comment on the policy developments in the last decade that establishes incentives to open-ended employment in Spain and corresponding debates as discussed in Toharia (2006). In Part 1, a brief assessment of policy context, economic circumstances and institutional as well as legal background in Turkey is presented. In Part 2, potential transferability of the policy measure in Turkey and likely conditions for policy implementation are discussed. Finally, Part 3 reviews the essence of the contemporary debates in Turkey in a way to complement the arguments in the former sections. |
