This research examined a model of affect for elderly, i.e. wether a need of selffulfilment effect the affectness of elderly. Quantitatif analytical test was done by application of LISREL 8.03. The Subject of this research were 40 elderies (20 male and 20 female). The result of this research indicates that: (1) The model about correlation among need of self-fulfilment and affect fits after eight factors in the need of self-fulfilment variables is reduced into four factors; (2) interrelation of constructs in the model showed the existence of direct relation between constructs hypothesized, such as the evidence of the role of neef of selffulfilment in supporting the positive-affect appearance (³=2.85; p<0.01) and the role of need of self-fulfilment in reducing the negative-affect appearance (³=-1.50; p<0.01)
