El presente estudio de tipo descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal se realizó con el propósito de determinar la relación que existe entre el los factores psicosociales y el nivel del vínculo afectivo en madres primíparas y recién nacidos a término. Hospital Belén de Trujillo. 2012. La muestra estuvo constituida por 151 madres primíparas; para la recolección de los datos se aplicaron 2 instrumentos: el primero para recolectar información sobre los factores psicosociales y test de autoestima y el segundo para indagar sobre el vínculo afectivo en madres primíparas y recién nacidos a término. Los resultados muestran que el 34% de las madres primíparas tienen edades comprendidas en el intervalo de 15 a 19 años, el 66% trabaja dentro del hogar, el 50% cuenta con la secundaria como grado de instrucción, el 46% es conviviente y el 54% presenta autoestima baja.
Las variables: edad, ocupación y nivel de instrucción, y vínculo afectivo presentan relación altamente significativa (p<0.01), esto se obtuvo aplicando la prueba chi- cuadrado de independencia de criterios.

The present study of descriptive correlational type of traverse court was carried out with the purpose of determining the relationship that exists among the psychosocial factors and the level of the affective bond in first born mothers and newly born to term. Belén Hospital of Trujillo. 2012. The sample was constituted by 151 first born mothers; for the gathering of the data 2 instruments were applied: the first one to gather information on the psychosocial factors s and test of self-esteem and the second to investigate on the affective bond in first born mothers and newly born to term. The results show that 34% of the mothers have ages understood in the interval from 15 to 19 years, 66% works inside the home, 50% has the secondary as instruction grade, 46% is not married and 54% it presents low self-esteem.
The variables: age, occupation and level of education, and bonding present highly significant relationship (p <0.01), this is obtained by applying the chi-square test of independence of criteria.
