This book deals largely with the causes of migration and presents an analysis and evaluation of both international and internal migration in South and southern Africa. The book is divided in three parts: Part I - The context of migration from a continental and regional perspective; Part II - Findings from South African survey data; and Part III - A theoretical synthesis.
