Definition
Este es un concepto acorde con lo establecido en el SCN93. Una persona se considera como residente en el territorio nacional, siempre y cuando al momento de la entrevista tenga un año o más de vivir en el país. No obstante si la persona tiene menos tiempo de residir en el país, pero tiene intenciones de quedarse en el mismo, también se le considera como residente.
