<p><span class="em">Question 31: Sons and daughters currently living</span></p>
<p>31. Of these, how many are currently alive?</p>

<p>Note the response in the space that corresponds to "total." If none of the children are still living, mark the response that corresponds to the option "none."</p>
<p>The total number of children currently alive can never be greater that the total number of children born live. If this condition is not meet, request the informer makes any clarifications necessary.
