<div class="i1">[] 00 None<br />_ _ Total</div><p>The "sons and daughters currently living" are those that are alive at the moment of the census, independently of whether or not they live in the same household as the mother, for reasons of work, study, marital status, or because they live outside of the country.</p>

<p>Note the response in the space that corresponds to "total." If none of the children are still living, mark the response that corresponds to the option "none."</p>

<p>The total number of children currently alive can never be greater that the total number of children born live. If this condition is not meet, request the informer makes any clarifications necessary.
