Definition
GEO2_ SN2002 identifies the household's department within Senegal in 2002. Departments are the second level administrative units of the country, after regions. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_ SN2002 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
