<svar a="all" v="CR73A427"><span class="h2">26.- Question No. 20.- Occupational Category</span><br /><br /><span class="em">This question should be asked only to persons of the classifications worked and not worked.</span><br /><br />Every person should be assigned a corresponding category of occupation agreeing with the occupation and industry written down before.<br /><br />Remember that only one circle should be marked.<br /><br /><span class="em">[26.1.-] Remunerated Worker</span>: is a person who receives remuneration in the form of salary, wage, commission, paid by the job or in kind and who works for an employer.<br /><br /><span class="em">Examples</span>: A carpenter in a construction site, a typist in a factory, a secretary in a public dependence.<br /><br /><span class="em">26.2.- For Their Own Account</span>: is a person who is dedicated to an occupation, profession or office, <span class="em">alone</span> or with <span class="em">associates</span> in <span class="em">an independent form, that is, without remunerated employees, nor being employed by anyone</span>. It can be that there are family workers or apprentices without wages.<br /><br /><span class="em">Examples</span>: A taxi chauffeur, the owner of a local store or a place in the market, the owner of a cabinet making shop who works with their children, who do not receive any payment.<br /><br /><span class="em">26.3.- Employer</span>: is the owner of any company, big or small, or one who manages a profession or craft and <span class="em">has one or more remunerated workers</span>.<br /><br /><span class="em">Examples</span>: The owner of a factory who has remunerated employees, a doctor who has a private practice and has a secretary or a nurse.<br /><br /><span class="em">[26.4.-] Non-Remunerated Family Worker</span>: is a person who manages a non remunerated occupation in a company in which a family member is owner.<br /><br /><span class="em">Examples</span>: An underage child who works on his father's farm; a spouse who attends to the local store of the spouse, a nephew who keeps the accounting books for his uncle's bakery, etc.<br /><br />You should, according to the previous definitions, assign to each person the corresponding category. When you find any special situation that you consider doubtful, write it down in the space "Observations".<br /></svar>
