<li>Do ask the rest of the people their relationship to the head of household and circle the corresponding option.</li>
</ul><br /><span class="pg"> [p. 45]</span><br /><span class="em">Head of household</span>. This is the person recognized as such by other household members and who lives permanently in the dwelling.<br /><span class="em">Other Relative</span>. This includes blood relatives of the head of household: aunts and uncles, cousins, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, siblings, etc.<br /><span class="em">Boarder</span>. This is a person who pays the head of household for the right to live in the dwelling and to eat within the household.<br /><span class="ital">Example</span>: Juan Perez is the head of household. If you interview his daughter, Camila, then you would circle option number 3, "child/stepchild," for this question.<br /></svar>
