Definition
GEO2_PE2007 identifies the household's province within Peru in 2007. Provinces are the second level administrative units of the country, after departments. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_PE2007 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
