The toilet facilities used by the household are:</span><br /><br />Toilet facilities are understood to be the system used for the elimination of excreta.<br /><br />[Below the text is a form.]<br /><br />If the response is "does not have toilet facilities", mark option 4 and go to question 16, do not ask question 15.<br /><br />Take into account the following definitions:<br /><br /><div class="i1"><span class="em">Flush toilet</span><br />It refers to a toilet bowel with elbow pipe, that needs to circulate water to eliminate the fecal material.<br /><br /><span class="em">Latrine</span><br />When the fecal materials fall directly without circulation of water into a pit toilet.<br /><br /><span class="em"> Expelled to running water like ditch or stream (<span class="lang">bajamar</span>)</span><br />When the fecal materials fall directly into a current of water like a ditch, river or sea.<br /><br /><span class="em">Does not have facilities</span><br />When a household does not have any type of toilet facilities; it is also named open country (<span class="lang">campo abierto</span>). Remember that if you marked this option, you should continue with question 16 and leave 15 blank.</div><br /></svar>
