Interviewer instructions
This refers to the highest academic qualification obtained. For persons who have been to primary or secondary schools, record the highest grade completed. For a person who has been to preprimary school only, enter 'Preprimary'
For a person who has studied up to Standard VI, you should enquire whether he/she has succeeded. If yes, enter 'Std VI-P' else 'Std VI-NP'
Similarly, for someone who has studied up to Form V level and has succeeded, you should enter 'Form V-P' or 'Form V-NP'. Proceed in the same way for persons having studied up to Form VI.
If the person is presently studying, enter the standard/form being attended. For a child attending preprimary school, enter 'Preprimary'.
If the person is presently studying Form I or Form II or Form III, you should enquire whether he/she is on the academic side 'Aca' or prevocational side 'Prevoc'. Enter 'Form I-Aca' or 'Form I-Prevoc' accordingly.
If never attended school or not yet at school, write 'NIL'.

Description

Universe
All persons who usually live in the household including babies as well as usual members of the household who are temporarily absent such as students abroad, persons away on vacation or business trips, persons in hospitals or in penal institutions etc. However, temporary visitors to the household are not included.
