PNPM (National Program for Community Empowerment) is a national program in order to reduce poverty with community based empowerment
P2K is a Subdistrict Development Program which is one of the programs that aims to accelerate poverty reduction in rural areas through increased community incomes, strengthening community institutions and local governments, and the realization of the principles of "good governance". P2K main target beneficiaries are rural communities in poor subdistrict locations. To determinate the location of the P2K's recipient by using Village Potential (Podes) data,also supported by other data available in each district.
P2KP is a project on urban poverty reduction is a program aimed at tackling poverty in urban areas through the community. Such an approach is necessary in order to establish the institutions of the community to be able to run poverty reduction efforts independently. The strategy taken is to form community self supporting body (BKM) as a transparant and democratic representative of the locals (kelurahan) to manage funds of P2KP. Financial assistance may be used for capital loans, capital grants for construction and improvement of basic infrastructure and the environment as well as help increase human resource / skills
