Definition
1. Jamkesmas(Community Health Insurance)is a social aid program of health services for extremely poor,poor and near poor/helpless people. Jamkesmas is managed by the Ministry of Health and PT Askes(Persero),while the provider of health services is Puskemas and its networks,appointed hospitals and other health service providers.
2. Health card is a card issued by the Ministry of Health to assist poor people(poverty-stricken). This card can be used to get medical treatment in the Government’s health services facilities(Hospital and Puskesmas) without any charge. One family should have one health card in which listed the names of all family members,and each member of the family can use it.
3. Poor Card/SKTM(Letter of Poverty) is a letter issued by the head of village/kelurahan to facilitate people to healthcare access.
4. Others such as: Jamkesda(Regional Health Security/Insurance) is a social aid program in the health sector provided by regional government for poor people in its territory.
