What is [the person]'s relationship with the head of household?</span><br /><br />The point of interest is the family relationship between members of the household and the head of household, and not the relationship of the members amongst themselves.<br /><br />Mark an "X" next to the option stated by the informant.<br /><br />If the informant states that one of the persons in the household is a cousin, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle or other relative of the head of household, mark option 12, "Other relative".<br /><br />If there are other people in the household who are not related to the head of household but who should be enumerated with this household, mark option 12, "No family relationship".<br /><br />If domestic employees meet the definition of permanent resident, mark option 14, "Domestic employee".<br /><br />If in question 1 (type of dwelling) of section II, "Dwelling information", any option from 11-19 is marked, mark option 15 or 16, as appropriate.<br /></svar>
