<svar a="all" v="ID85A051">Column (7): Number of household members<br />In this column record the total number of household members.<br /><ul class="b1">
<li>A household member is every person who usually resides in the household; those who are residing in the household when the listing is done as well as those who are temporarily not at home at that time are considered household members.</li>

<li>Members of the household who have already been away for 6 months or more, and those who have been away for fewer than 6 months but have the intention to move out of the household/be away for more than 6 months are not considered as members of the household.</li>

<li>Guests who have lived in the household for 6 months or more and guests who have stayed in the household for fewer than 6 months, but have the intention to stay for 6 months or more, are considered members of the household.</li>
</ul><br /><br /><span class="pg">[pg. 19]</span><br /><br />For buildings with no occupants, put a dash (-) in this column.<br /><br /><span class="ital">Explanation</span><br /><div class="i1">a. A house maid/driver who lives in the employer's house is considered a member of the employer's household. On the other hand, if a housemaid/driver does not live in the employer's household, he/she is considered as a member of the household where he/she resides.<br />b. Someone who does not have a permanent place of residence will be recorded at the time of the enumeration.<br />c. A head of household who has more than one place of residence will be recorded at the place where his spouse and children reside.<br />d. If a husband has more than one wife, he will be enumerated in only one of those households.</div><br /></svar></p>

Fill in the sum of all baby deaths experienced in the household, that is, by summing the number of 2s in Q.11 and Q.22 Block X, for which Q.9 and Q.20 have code 1.<br /><br />Point 6: Total number of deaths<br />Fill in the total number of deaths from 30 June, 1984 up to the date of the enumeration; this is the total number of members of the household who died as recorded in Q.1 block XII.B.<br /></svar>
