Description

Definition
This variable indicates whether respondents have any of their own grandchildren under the age of 18 living with them in the house or apartment. This question was asked of people 15 years of age and over. On the assumption that younger people cannot have grandchildren, the Census Bureau edited the data to include only responses from people aged 30 and over.
