This variable indicates the minor civil division code of the enumeration area of the household. Minor civil divisions are the principal independent political division at the sub-county level. The coding scheme generally follows the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS). The codes of this variables must be read in combination with one of the state variables( US80B016 or US80B017) and the county variable US80B018.
